My son loves LEGOs. Ever since he got his first box when he was 3 years old, he has been obsessed. Therefore, it makes sense that when I asked him what kind of party he wanted for his 8th birthday, he said he wanted a LEGO party. We embraced the theme, and after a few Amazon orders and multiple DIY projects, we made his party a reality.
The main activity of the party involved playing with LEGOs. I didn’t end up hiring any entertainers (which saved money) and didn’t plan any party games (which made things easy). All the guests had fun making their own LEGO creations, and we made that easy for them to do with the help of organized LEGO creation spaces for each guest and plenty of LEGOs for them to use thanks to my son’s huge LEGO collection.
There were also multiple DIY projects involved when it came to the decor, such as making huge LEGOs out of boxes and hanging tablecloths on the walls to give the impression of huge LEGOs everywhere!
They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, so a video has to be worth, what, a million? I could go on and on explaining everything I did to make my son’s LEGO party a reality, but to make things easier, I created a video that shows you what I did and how it all came together. Watch it below.
