What if I told you that you could make whipped cream in just about 2 minutes? It’s true because I’ve done it, and you only need three ingredients. You might even already have them on hand.
I used to buy store bought whipped cream like Cool Whip, but homemade whipped cream tastes better and doesn’t contain all of the added ingredients I can’t even pronounce. All you need to make homemade whipped cream is powdered sugar, heavy whipping cream (buy it where you’d find milk) and vanilla extract.
The one item you may not already have that you will need in order to make this recipe is a Pampered Chef whipped cream maker. I’m not a Pampered Chef consultant, but my friend Jennifer is, so if you like, you could order one from her website.

Homemade Whipped Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Method:
Combine all of the ingredients in the Pampered Chef Whipped Cream maker. Put the lid on the whipped cream maker and pump the handle up and down for approximately 2 minutes or until the cream has reached the desired thickness.
Store in the refrigerator.
Tips: The whipped cream will stay whipped for a day or two, but if you haven’t used it all before it starts to separate, simply screw the pump back onto the whipped cream maker and re-whip it to the desired consistency.
This homemade whipped cream goes really well with many desserts such as ice-cream sundaes, pumpkin pie, and my easy 2-ingredient pineapple cake. It’s also a wonderful addition to hot chocolate and coffee beverages.
